Breech at 35wks

Ok so I'm 35 wks Friday & my baby boy is breech (as of 2wks ago). I'm pretty positive he still hasn't flipped. I go to the doctor tomorrow for an ultrasound and they want to schedule me for a c-section at 39wks. Any advice on what to do? As this is my first pregnancy, I really wanted to have vaginal birth. I've been advised by a few women in my life that there's still time for him to flip & not to schedule a c-section until closer to my due date- if he doesn't flip before then. I obviously want to do what's best for the baby, and myself.  And follow the best advice from my doctor & family. I feel torn!  Any advice would REALLY help! Thanks y'all.

I usually start doing that pretty early on to make sure my babies are in the right position.

I think if you sit in a froggy position it can help turn him. The weight of the head is more than the body and the leaning forward will give him room to turn. I would try a few times a day for maybe 10-15 minutes and see if it does anything. Even try doing a little rocking back and forth to help his head weigh down. I was fortunate that my first was head down from about 25 weeks until he came. When they told me at 25 weeks he was head down I was like already!? They said he'll flip a lot before it becomes the permanent position, but just like the cautious boy he is now, he wanted to be extra sure he was ready! He was head down at every appointment after that until he came!!! Haha
