Not kind about those things either!!! Rough guy but a smart one!!
My 7th pregnancy, I haven't ever seen a list with chamomile on it, weird. I guess every doctor has his reasons, not all doctors research each and every thing. Mine on the other hand does, he's a great... but strictly about our good being.
Baby center is great also...you can get better answers, research chamomile tea in pregnancy. It's fine!! You will find all herbal teas that are not safe, chamomile isn't on that list.
My doc gave me a list and its on there. I don't drink it anyways, just wondering.
Actually....if that was the case I would have had a lot of premature births. It's safe!! Ask you doctor, you will see. Research!
I thought chamomile was a no no unless trying to induce labor?
Depends on what kind you choose, my doctor and my local pharmacist recommend me only using....Ricola natural Honey-Herb. Other cough drops contain a few ingredients that haven't been studied enough to know the possible side effects. Ask a pharmacist, detail how many weeks you are. I can also suggest a homemade tea that's helpful!!! Fresh Chamomile with both the flower and stem, fresh lime, cinnamon and honey. It's simple to make. You should be able to find all of those ingredients in your local grocery store and if not most definitely in a hispanic stores it's a very common tea we use for a lot remedies, even upset tummies. All you do is a add a little if the chamomile (dried) flowers and stem with a little cinnamon. Boil them until the stem and flower tops look soft, they change brownish. Drain the herbs, poor the tea in a cup, add the fresh lime juice and honey. Drink it while it's still warm/hot. That should help soothe a cough especially with the above cough drops I mentioned above and relieve your sore throat. Colds tend to last longer in pregnancy!! I hate them!! My nose actually stays runny, I am constantly having to blow it. Crazy pregnancy hormones!!
