Contractions?

I'm having sharp pains. Now I'm not sure if they are contractions cause I heard they are supposed to hurt. I'm 40+5days. Lol plsss lete knoooo

If it comes and goes they can definitely be contractions...monitor them and see how far apart they are...you are so close... Good luck mama

I went to hospital the day before having my love and was hooked up to a machine to monitor heartbeat during contractions and there were a few when the nurse asked if i even was feeling the contractions. I did, but one felt like gas and another i thought was baby kicks, so it depends on your body to know. They were early labor and i had to have a c section in the end,so i'm sure the later stage labor pains are much worse, but i did have some sneaky ones like i said and some that i figured were( nurse confirmed)

Im same 40 weeks + 6 days and my back and been having cramp like contractions but im not going to hospital till I need pain meds when I need pain meds they keeping me 4 sure dont want to go to hospital and be locked down to that bed :-)

Sounds like it may be time :) if the sharp pains turn into cramps that come close together you will know it's contractions
