Did you get gestational diabetes?

Hey ladies, my doc just called and told me that there was glucose in my urine... I am 20 weeks with twins and do the chances are greater for me to get gestational diabetes, so I have to go in on Monday for the 1 hour test. My question to you all is if this has happened to you (glucose in your urine) and did you then develop gestational diabetes or not? I REALLY hope I don't have to go down this road!! Comments are SO appreciated!!

Thats happened to me last week and i was admitted at the hospital for three days but still my glucose is up,so they trying pills it didnt work so now im home but im using insulin three times a day.....it is challenge and frustrated but i have no choice, the only thing im worried is my baby i hope is not gonna be too big cause if he's too big i have to go through c section and my baby will end up to NICU which i dnt want that to happen to me or my baby, what u need right now is stop worried and follow all the instructions they giving to you and watch your diet till when u deliver your baby safely....i hope this we will help you,by the way they found out im gestational diabetic last week when i was 28wks
