Difficult breathing

Hello.
I'm pregnant for the first time and I'm in week 28. The last two weeks I have sometimes had a hard time breathing.  I have to breath with my mouth open and take deeper breaths then normal. It's like i have a too tight bra or dress on. It's quite a scary feeling to feel like you don't get enough air.
I did an EKG and everything was good.
It makes me nervous and I hardly think that helps.
Sometimes my resting puls is as high as 110-120..
Does anyone else have this problem?
Sara

Thanks.
I was at the dr yesterday again and they asked if i came on my bike or took the stairs and i said no. Car and elevator.. i have a blood pressure of 150/80 and puls of 104. So i had to rest for 10 min again and the same result came.. but they didn't seem too alarmed.. i think it could have to do with after I'm eating.. i think i see a connection between being full and high puls. What do you think off that?

I'm in week 22 and get puffed so easily (was quite fit before pregnancy) and it takes me a while to catch my breath and my pulse to drop! I just sit there and concentrate on taking deep breaths.

I know shortness of breath is quite common during pregnancy espcecially as your baby gets bigger! I always think though if your ever worried call the Dr

I've been going through the same thing im 24 weeks and I breath heavier and take deep breaths due to feeling like I cant get enough air in sometimes I think its because baby is pushing our intestines up into our lungs and we arent use to that
