Evening Primrose Oil
So my Dr gave me the ok to try primrose oil...problem is I forgot to ask him how to use it. Am I supposed to take it orally or insert it vaginally or cut the capsule and rub the actual oil on my cervix? Anyone have any experience that can help me out??
I started at 36 weeks orally then started to use them vaginally at 37.5. It did help to soften my cervix. I eventually increased my dose to 2 orally & 2 vaginally. I had the 1300mg ones. I did ask my Dr first and he okd it.
About how far along are you supposed to start using it?
The ones I bought are 1000 mg. Did it work for you??
I did both. I Took one orally then increased dose to two. Then I started to insert it vaginally. It also depends how many mg you get.
