Feeling baby with anterior placenta

I founds out that I have an anterior placenta a couple of weeks ago when I went for an ultrasound. They had asked if I have felt much movement yet and I said no (this is my 4th baby) and they weren't surprised and said it might be awhile before I did. I still don't feel a lot but every so often I feel like a popcorn feeling. Wondering when other momma's with anterior placenta started to feel things and if it is in fact baby that I am feeling. It feels different than the movements I have felt in my previous pregnancies. Any advice is helpful =)

I am feeling so bummed because I am used to feeling my babies by now. Makes the whole experience so much more real if that makes sense. I feel like I am still worried in between doctor appointments that everything is ok with my little one

I Have an anterior placenta as well. I started feeling baby at about 16 weeks And I am 22 weeks now and I feel baby lots. . Not From the outside though just from the inside.  My Doctor told me I wouldn't feel the baby from the outside until baby gets bigger.

I also have a  anterior placenta, which I found out at 19 weeks. I felt kicks on my bladder at 20 weeks. At 22 weeks I could feel light kicking on the left side and by 23 weeks if I was lying on my side I could see the kicks as well. I'm 36 weeks and sometimes I can see movement but not feel it. It is so weird! This is my first, I was bummed when they told me I had an anterior placenta because I was so excited to feel the little guy.
