Whats with all you people wanting to rush the delivery? Babies who stay in the wonb longer are healthier, dont try to induce labor by yourselves its unnatural,  the baby has the last say here, once the baby is here you are going to wish he/she was back in there just to be able to sleep at night

So in my professional opinion as a nurse this is just a bad idea. Caster oil causes diarrhea,  vomiting and dehydration.  It crosses the placenta and you risk your baby having a bm while in utero which is dangerous.  Plus you aren't even at your due date.  Every day counts in making your baby ready to make his/her debut. We all get uncomfortable at the end,  but it's part of the deal.  Your baby will come when they are ready.

Ive heard a bad story where they had to pump the babies tubes because they drunk castor oil and the baby had a bowel movement then swallowed it. I really recommend that you don't.But if you do becareful ladies.

This isn't directed to anyone person its just my opinion... We chose to have a baby knowing that we wouldn't be able to sleep towards the end.. Wed gain weight be emotional we chose all of this an should wait til there ready.. I'm on my 3rd pregnancy at 30 weeks I couldn't imagine doing something that could make me more unconfortable .. I for one don't like sitting on the toilet for all day or having my head in a garbage can... Again just my opinion... Take care ladies an hope you all have good labor an deliveries

Be careful with the castor oil it can cause the baby to have its first BM (MECONIUM) and make them sick at birth if they inhale it... O haven't tried it and don't plan to BUT I have heard mixed reviews... Some say it works some saybit just gave the diarrhea :/ let us know how it goes

I did this with my first pregnancy I waited until my due date as it is very affective I took it at roughly 7pm had a bath and an hour later started with contractions and had him the same night I just advise if you are thinking of doing it please wait until you are due plus it makes you violently sick and the midwifes etc know you have done it as it coats the baby xx

You should wait till you start dialating and thinning. It won't work until your body is ready just give you diarrhea. I have tried it a few times when I was close it sent me into labor, when I was too early I just got diarrhea.
