Flu shot

So I was wondering, has anyone ever gotten a flu shot and a tdap vaccine during pregnancy and had any negative side effects? I found info on different sites saying yes and no it does harm for the baby. Now im totally confused.  Please help. Thanks

I was just wondering if any of you heard that the flu shot the CDC was offering this year does not cover the main strain of the flu virus going around this year. They apologized, it was in the news and Facebook, and radio show host were talking about it.

I had my flue shot 4 weeks ago and didn't even get a sneeze. No pain or fever either.

I had both shots. No side effects and I work around individuals that get sick quite often. I've had a very healthy pregnancy. Only side effect for me was sore arms after the shots.

Got both shots at the same time at 26 weeks, i have had no complications. Doc says the shots will protect baby, as the little one will be too little to get his or  her own vaccines!

I've had both. And I'm fine. Flu shot hurt more than the tdap shot. Lol

I can't vouch for tdap, but I had a flu shot two months ago and have had absolutely no side effects. Up until a week ago, I worked full time as a supervisor in a retail enviroment, surrounds by customers and about 80 staff on a given day, and didn't go down sick even when everyone else did. A lot of the fear mongering regarding vaccines fail to use actual science, and for shots that may actually have adverse effects, fail to take into account the good that vaccines do.
