GOT MY MEMBRANES SWEPT!

ahhh! I am so excited! Doc scheduled an induction for New Years Eve. I go in Wednesday at 6am. As of now I am only dilated 1.5 and 50% effaced. So he said that he would go ahead and strip my membranes so that my body would start progressong faster. But I am SO hoping that the sweep sends me into labor! Anyone have experience with a sweep? What is your story? Im currently just feeling a little crampy and have had a few sharp shooting pains in my bum. Not even spotting.
I also bought caster oil at the store today, but I am scared to try it! Thinking of pulling on out the breast pump to stimulate my nipples and bouncing on my yoga ball. I would just love to have her on my own before induction! all stories and/or advice is appreciated!

Castor oil work for me, I took two onces of oil in 6 oz of orange juice.. after that I took me a warm bath and a cinnamon tea,(tea I always take when on labor) if its true labor contractions will pick up quick with the cinnamon tea or they will go away of only bs contractions... I didnt get diarrhea woke up at 2:30 in the am with contractions had my baby at 4:20 am not even two hours of labor.
