I hour down :) so far feeling pretty good.
Try your best. Good luck I hate doing that I always feel sick the rest of the day! I failed my one hour both pregnancies and passed my three hour both times maybe this time I'll pass first try but I still have a long way to get to that point.
Ok ladies. Third time is a charm. Maybe. Ugh I haven't had this crsp in me for more than 15 minutes and I'm already struggling to hold it down.
I usually feel extremely sick if I don't eat sugar. When o took my one hr I felt amazing all day. Then they said I failed it... Then with the 3 hr and dpi ke the sugar drink it was horrible. I've never felt anything like it. I do t know if it's just because I'm not used to that much sugar or if I do have diabetesor even if I had an actualy alleric reaction. I guess we will find out tomorrow.
Careful with the fruits. They last longer. I hope your test get fixed. Its hard to be pregnant with unstable blood sugars, not to mention dangerous. My last pregnancy we could not get my sugars under control. They had to induce me as I was at risk of going into a coma.
Good luck hope everything works out
See I would rather do the finger sticks everyday. I grew up on the diabetes diet just because my mom couldn't have that stuff. I'm going in tomo to try this for a third time. Hopefully I have better luck. I crave sugar with this baby. I resist as much as possible and eat fruits instead of sweets. I will admit that sweet tea has been my major addiction lately.
I had a friend with her last baby after she failed the 1hr test she convinced them to let her do the daily blood sticks like a regular diabetic for two weeks to prove she wasn't a diabetic. It wasn't easy to get them to agree but you might try.
I have diabetes with this baby and it is very important for them and you to know the results diabetes can really harm you and your baby if your blood sugar is out of range. see if they can come up with and different way to test you levels
I failed mine too, i wasnt able to finish it in 5 mintues because I wanter to throw up! I may find another solution.
At this point, I think I would ask they should treat you as if you are diabetic and put you on the diabetes diet (it's really healthy anyway, whether or not you are diabetic) and do a fasting morning blood test weekly.
