HCG levels are not doubling

Lmp 4/28......6/11 I went to the ER for bleeding (thick muscus like). They did a TVU and saw a gestational sac but no heart beat was detected. HCG levels came in at 1670. Continued light bleeding for 9 days. Went to OBGYN 6/20, HCG at 4800. Obviously very low considering the 9 day difference. Lower back pain dull and achy comes and goes. Sore breasts but not nearly as tender as the first couple of weeks. Any ideas on this one? I go for sono Tuesday but I sick of waiting and reading the possibilities. I appreciate your time!

That is a really beautiful attitude to have and I'm glad you're looking at it like that. Your instinct is usually right. It took us 4 years to get this one and practicing was always tons of fun anyway ;)

I feel great. Just anxious to know something. I really feel like there is no way this pregnancy will go much further... Just my gut instinct. My husband and I are ready to try again!

That would have put you at 6wks (?) when you went to the ER. Kind of on the border for detecting a heartbeat. The HCG looks like it's pretty low since 6wks would have been 11, 000 on up and 7 wks is over 30, 000 avg. The HCG typically plateaus or drops near the end of the first trimester. But there is the possibility of a later ovulation date? Possibly..... waiting stinks. How are you feeling today?
