Headaches, Varicose Vains & Braxton Hicks 28weeks

Hi Ladies.
I am now 28 weeks and lately got a headache all day even with panadol and lots of water also this is my 4th and I'm 28 and I have only just started getting varicose vains near my knee caps. Anyone know anyway to get rid of the terrible looking things I feel like I'm a granny and also having Braxton Hicks quiet painfully but Dr says it's fine. I didn't know they were ment to give so much pain but just a twinge. Not sure but this time round everything seems off :/

Thanks for all the info guys. I was told about compression pants just bought out but if your not covered by private health Cosy $190 for 1 pair. They look like gym pants. Goodluck on everyone else x

Compression stockings, lots of water +sorry as it means lots of bathroom trips) and break often to elevate feet. I'm in steel toes on concrete floors 8 hours a day...breaks are hard to get! Not sure about the braxton hicks...I just feel a tightening for a few minutes at a time and my belly firms up. I'm am a ftm 28+3.

I should mention that I had them with my second baby and now I am 36 weeks pregnant with my third.

I am on my third pregnancy and have varicose veins and spider veins so badly that I was pulled off work at 6 months pregnant. They look horrible and are incredibly painful but they did fade after I had the baby. I only have them on my right leg from the weight and pressure of where the baby is sitting.I am currently on modified bed rest to control the pain as well. I would recommend a compression stocking and you can try accupuncture as well. They say to try and exercise to eliminate the pain and keep the blood flowing. Good luck!
