I CAN EAT AGAIN!!! (yes, it's a big deal.)

so I took my first dose of Promethazine (25mg) yesterday at exactly 10 weeks pregnant.. mind you, I've been nauseous since THE DAY AFTER I took a pregnancy test.. weird huh?! so, since exactly 6 weeks.

for 4 weeks, I've been miserable, not eating, I'm sure you all know where I'm coming from.. well, a lot of you!
well I was able to eat a sub yesterday, took my pill (crushed it.. my OB is determined I'm going to learn to swallow a pill again. HA! not.), then I passed OUT for like 3 hours.. woke up, and enjoyed a mix of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream!

SO, today I cut it in half (b/c quite frankly I wanted to be awake to enjoy my day), crushed it, and managed to eat a double cheeseburger from mickey d's! YES, a cheeseburger.. the whole thing!!! that's a huge deal for me.. and now I'm enjoying waffle cone ice cream, and a slim jim for dessert lol!!

okay, okay.. not super healthy, but for right now I'm enjoying eating like a normal human being for the first time in forever! thank you Promethazine!!!!

oh, another funny thing.. as soon as the nausea goes away for me last night, my fiancé starts feeling sick.. then started craving ice cream once he saw me enjoying it so much, and he had a WEIRD CRAVING to pair it with popcorn?!
pregnancy sympathy symptoms much?! haha! he said he felt so bad for me feeling like that all the time.. he finally got a hint of it!! lol

just thought I'd share.. I've got a long way to go ladies. strap on a seatbelt & enjoy the ride!
good luck & prayers ladies!!! ((((: ❤

lol I was able to eat sweets here & there.. but I thank God I've been able to eat real food these past 2 days!

munching on dry cereal (Trix) now lol which I've been eating, but it feels good not to be nauseous 24/7! I've lost a couple of pounds since I found out I was pregnant so, it won't hurt to gain a couple! ((:

lol I felt kinda bad for him, but then again.. a couple weeks ago it hadn't really hit him that I was REALLY pregnant, and when I'd complain about not wanting food, being nauseous, etc. he actually said to me a few times, "I think you're milking this a little.."

so last night I said, "aren't you milking this little??" lol!!!! karma is sweet!

so then he gets up & gets me ice cream.. (he already had the popcorn).. literally after 2 min. he says, "I think this would be great with popcorn.." I replied, "you're disgusting.. and weird." lol it is very entertaining!!!!

it's for nausea.. my OB prescribed it thursday, just got it friday.. thank God!

I definitely can't take a whole one during the day, not while working, b/c it puts me to sleep quick.. 1/2 hasn't seemed to bother me so much. still tired, but I'm awake at least!! lol
