LEAKING??
Is anyone else leaking it has a strong ammonia smell or sometimes sweet & I don't know if its urine or a slow amniotic fluid leak.I've been googling & they say women can have stress incontinence when pregnant but it says when coughing or laughing. mine comes out of nowhere should I be worried?? This is my 4th preg. & I've never had this
I just had a talk with my doctor the other day about what "leaking" was because they always ask if I'm experiencing it and I didn't know what they meant. She said there's normal discharge, which is fine but if it has a bleach like smell and is making your underwear noticeably wet it is amniotic fluid and need to call them. So just to be safe please call your doctor and ask, they will have a better idea of what's going on and it never hurts to ask questions... Please just call to be sure?
Yeah discharge is normal with pregnancy I was told its cervical fluid that coats the cervix
Heather I've had that discharge and I was wearing panty liners since my first pregnancy and I'm almost due with my second one
Im a ftm ive been wearing pantie liners since i found out i was pregnant!! Im guessing its normal. Sorry might b tmi but I have a whitish yellowish discharge and it has been going on the whole pregnancy. I told my doctor he acts like its normal he says as long as there is no itching or burning or smell you are fine lol!! Anyone else have this discharge that im talking about?
Yeah I think it is urine which ***** & is so embrassing! I guess I will be buying panty liners tomorrow
If it has an ammonia smell, its probably urine-but if you're concerned, I would check with your doctor.
U agree with natjayne.
Id go and get checked out for peace of mind. Or ring and tell your midwife your symptoms. Its not worth the risk at such an early stage.x
I'm 25w & 4 days & I asked my mom she said it sounded like a slow leak that she had one with my sister
How far along are you? Pop a pad on and if its wet through after a while then I would say its your waters leaking. Then I'd contact your midwife
