Labor and Delivery Courses

I've been looking into a few different Labor and Delivery courses offered in my area.  My concern is is it worth it to take these classes? They charge around $50 but they also let you take other courses like breastfeeding and infant CPR etc if you take the labor and delivery course. Also kind of bugs me with the classes lasting hours to almost half a day at a time...lets face it the human brain can only focus for so long until you lose interest. Does anyone recommend taking this class? Or doesn't not recommend? Maybe someone knows of a way to do this at home instead like on DVD? Any other suggestions?  Curious to see others responses and experiences.

i'm taking the one given at the hospital where i'm giving birth - so i can know all the ins and outs and meet the staff. I think it is worth it, you can learn so much more from class where you can ask questions than you can from a video
