Labor pain ramble

I think people forget to mention that contractions and pain, ( I mean real, serious pain worse than having your wisdom teeth out or the worst charlie horse you've ever had, stops you in your tracks) doesnt always mean labor is progressing.

I've had worse pain than this due to previous injury, BUT I am only 1 cm dialated right now (been this way over a week... due date is Monday Jan 20) and I just wanna say I have even more respect for all you Mommies out there. No matter how you delievered your little ones... Y'all get huge props.

I'm assuming this is going to get worse, but if women have been doing this since the beginning of time, than surely I can continue to attempt to do this without an epidural.

Taking it easy for the forseeable future.

*end ramble*

I don't think I remembered how painful labour was last time after a 4 year gap between babies until the day I was on my way to be induced it suddenly hit me oh god this is going to hurt like crazy again and it all came back to me lol bit late at 42 weeks to back out though :)

Yep sound about right. Trust you will not remember the pain after. To push things along go for walks, have sex, scrub the floor. Or get you membrains swept. Ive been on the drip twice to inuce my labor.  That was not ad bad as I hurd about. For my first 2 I took fenamin, im sure I am spelling it wrong.  Though it effects baby way less. They ingect it diring contraction and only lasts for a short time. With my third. I had my membrains swept twice and was put on the drip to induce labor. My last 2 were risk incument babies. Anyways with the third I just used hot water from the shower on my tummy. Best of luck hun!
