Hi Guys! I'm preggers for the first time and when I found out I was so happy! I though for years that I couldn't get pregnant. Anyways, I found out July 20th that I was pregnant by taking my last HPT. I was about to go on a diet because of weight gain and I said to myself...letme just take a test incase this is my happy ending. "Pregnant" two bright lines showed up. So I went to the doctor and the did all test including ultrasound and they saw nothing. NOTHInG! Being that this is my first time I freaked out. So they said I'm at 5200 beta and ithey should see at least the sac. :(. The problem is I'm very irregular and I have no idea when I got my last period. I'm thinking around June 9th or 10th. Anyone else experience this? I'm going back to the DR this week.

hey, I had the same problem..the test of pregnancy was positive but the doctor couldn't see the baby at 7w, only the sac. than I had an abortion, and doctor said that it would be better for me to wait one menstrual period before getting pregnant again...I was so sad that I said I'will wait  few months but  things happened different...I get pregnant after the first menstrual period and I was so happy (I really dont know how/when).. now I'm 37 weeks, and I'm waiting for my baby (girl) .. :))
don't worry, everything will be ok, just try not to think so much about it ..it's better when you are relaxed :) good luck

What type of sono did he do? My first pregnancy, I had to go to the ER around 5wks and they wouldnt even bother doing a normal sono. They used the vaginal wand, their was a sack but unfortunately I was miscarrying.

Im sorry that it happened. Try to take it easy and take vitamins before trying again. It will help you and the baby second time around.

You should get a clear blue digital test that tells u the weeks. Was 100% right for me.

Thanks ladies!! I will go to DR again this week. I had the worst sleep ever. Im not sure what it is but I have an annoying sensation in my upper abdomen. Likeeeee omg. I can't with this first trimester. I barely got any SLEEP! Just too much and about to break down. Sorry ladies just feeling a little overwelmed. :(

my first ultrasound was at about 5 weeks and they couldn't see anything either. went back a coupleweeks later and there was a baby :) try not to worry

Also you could just have an abnormally high level of hormones!! Which if that's the case get ready for the morning sickness hyperemissis is the side effect of a high level of hormones and that means excessive vomiting my body always produces an abnormally high amount of hormones and i was constantly hospitalized for dehydration from throwing up so much if this is the case with you then you could still be very early too early to see anything in the ultrasound why don't you talk to your Dr about doing another beta hcg level check to make sure your levels are increasing instead of decreasing if your not bleeding and cramping don't worry about it i hope you get good news soon! I've been through 3 miscarriages so i don't wish that upon anybody i hope you're blessed soon :)

Unfortunately bloating is part of pregnancy. What may help is to increase your water intake and decrease your sodium intake.

Thanks ladies! I will def keep you guys informed. I haven't eaten all day. My stomach is very tight and uneasy. Its like I don't know what to do to stop this bloating. Feels like my tummy is about to pop! I look like im 3 months prego! Anyone took anything to help bloat, gas, tightness..etc I need this bloat to go down!!

As much as all those symptoms s u c k they are a good sign. A lot of women lose their sex drive in the first trimester but it usually returns in the second.

The first trimester can be terrible for many.  It is for me as well as the first several weeks of my 2nd.  But you should feel better soon.  Hopefully hubby can be a little understanding.

As far as what you should see, etc., well like you said, you are irregular.  No way to know for sure exactly when you conceived.  If you ovulated late, then you conceived late.  My doctor doesn't like to see you until you are like 6-8 weeks so he can hopefully see something on screen.  But again, try not to worry.  You very well may not be as far along as you think.

No I didn't!! I wanted to wait. I will go on Tuesday. Also, im having every 1st trimester illness. Which I hate...especially bloat, gas itching. Everytime I eat my tummy is uneasy. I had diarrhea a few mornings now constipated. Im not enjoying this at all!! I feel fat and unattractive. My hubby wants sex but the drive is just not there. Any Advise?

Its possible he just couldn't find it. Its a big space in comparison to a tiny embryo. I wouldn't worry just yet.

They say once your levels are over 1000, you should be able to see a sac. Keep us posted...

According to this app im 7 weeks preggers. Im not worried but just confused. Im always tired experiencing nausea. Heavy boobs...no blood. Normal pregnant chick symptoms.

Thanks ladies however... why did the DR say with a 5200 hcg the should see a baby. Honestly, I don't know when I got pregnant. The doctor is confused too. If I got pregnant on June 26th I would be abt 5 weeks pregnant right? Im not even sure!!
