Pregnant 4 weeks after miscarriage

Hi girls,

I had a miscarriage 4 weeks ago at approx 4 -5 weeks pregnant. I have taken 2 pregnancy tests in the last few days and they are both positive (most recent one darker than the first). Of course I'm beyond excited because I have a history of PCOS and ovulation problems so it was a miracle we conceived the first time let alone AGAIN just a few weeks later.

Are there any other mums who've had or are experiencing a similar situation? I'd love to hear about your experiences. I guess I'm just looking for some extra reassurance. I am trying my best not to dwell on the negative and to remain positive this time round.

Having to suppress my excitement is SO hard!! Can't believe this is happening! Thank You Lord!

Thank you so much for sharing your stories with me! I feel so reassured - wish I could tell the whole world but I know its too early. Going to go for a blood test to triple check before calling my gynae. Hopefully I'll be on this site for the next 9 months!!

I got pregnant 4 weeks after my misscarrage i didn't even know because i had a small rupture around the time my next period was supossed to be so i didn't find out till i was almost 10 weeks i thought i was 4 weeks. So i went in for my ultrasound to double check my dates thinking at the time i was 6 weeks and there on the screen was my boy healthy at 12 weeks lol. Was a shock for everyone now i'm almost 28 weeks and waiting for my little one time does fly

I had a miscarriage the week before Thanksgiving 2013 went back to the doctor right after the first of the year to find out that I was 7 weeks pregnant. Now I'm 16 weeks and 3 days due September 5th... Good luck :)

Yes I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks October 30... Well by the middle of December I went to the doctors cause my period hadn't started yet....they told me I was 6 weeks pregnant I literally got pregnant before my period.. Now I'm 21 weeks due August 6 with a girl...congratulations to u and just take things easy...go to doctors so they can confirm it

I became pregnant 3 weeks after a miscarriage in august. The miscarriage was heartbreaking after trying for so long to get pregnant so 2 weeks after we lost it and surgery our dr gave us the go to start trying again while my hormone levels were still up and it worked.we are now pregnant with a little boy who is due in may and he looks perfectly healthy :) stay positive!!! Its scary and I would be lying if I said I havent worried this entire pregnancy but as long as you stay positive and focus on your goal and try not to think about the what ifs than you will be ok :) hope it helps and good luck to you!
