I only know one person that delivered a still born, but she had gotten into an accident and wasn't paying attention to whether baby was moving like normal, when she finally went to the doc to get checked they found the cord wrapped around baby's neck and had to induce her. So unusual circumstances is the only thing that caused it. If you are aware of your body and baby then everything will be fine.

Omg me to nancy. I only have 1 week left and so scared of something happening in labour. We gotta stop thinking like this cause its just stressing us out and we don't need that right now. Stay positive our time is almost up. But good luck with everything :) x

Nancy,  this is highly unlikely with the monitoring they do during delivery.  You will have a fetal heart monitor on the whole time you're in labor and pushing,  and you will know for sure that your baby's heart is still beating.  If a problem develops and the cord gets pinched,  and the heartrate slows dramatically they can have the baby out amazingly fast.

Hi all I can say is try not to worry about it. It is very unlikely that this would happen. They monitor your baby whilst you are in labour and will know if something is wrong. The more you think about it the more you will stress yourself out and that isn't good for anyone! All will be fine. Good luck x
