Scared to test

hello ladies
AF was suppose to come last week Thursday and all I had was pink discharge when I wiped only once, on Friday late the afternoon the same thing happened just light pink when I wiped once. Saturday. Sunday today nothing. All I'm experiencing is extreme breast pain and on and off lower back pain. I bought a test today but I'm so scared I'll be disappointed.( will test later).
So I just wanted to find out if anyone has ever experienced this and got a BFN?

Just remember to use the 1st pee of the morning. That is the pee with the highest pregnancy hormone (hcg).

i used to be so afraid of the BFN. but then i just started looking at it as me having more time to prepare for baby. financially, physically and emotionally. i had been ttc for 14 months. when the fear was gone. the BFP came. dont give power to the pee stick :) and good luck

All I can say is don't be scared to test. It's better to know than not to know. I was scared too and I waited 8 days after my missed cycle. I said to myself being scared to test will not change the results whether it's positive or negative
