Scared

I'm 27 weeks pregnant. In my doctor just prescribed me three Tylenol with Codeine. And I'm a little scared to take it. Because I don't want it  to hurt the baby. Has anyone else's doctor prescribed them Tylenol with Codeine while pregnant????

I was given Percocet during thus pregnancy. I took one. I hate the effects of the pills. So I didn't take them other then the once. As long as it is prescribed by your ob, they understand what is considered safe for baby. If you don't trust your dr, maybe it would be better to find a doc that you trust. I know people who changed doctors a couple times with their pregnancies. Your trust is so important

My doctor told me they wouldn't prescribe me that. But hey all docs are different on this subject I was prescribed foricet but once that ran out I switched to midol with just the tynenol in it. I've had the worst migraines I've ever had in my life so I understand. I think tynenol 3 will be ok. So I wouldn't worry.

Codine is safe to take during pregnancy without harming baby as long as it's given to you by a doctor

My first pregnancy with my little boy was so easy. Lol. I threw up nonstop. I just want these headaches to go away and never come back. I would rather my back. Then my head lol.

This is number 5. I have 4 boys & now a girl. :) I would start off with as little as you think will help you. See if half a dose gives relief. It may help with the migraine and you can feel more comfortable taking it. Just a thought.

I have. I had a minor surgery when I was pregnant with my oldest. I was given them to help with the pain. That was 11 years ago. He came through it all. I was only 20 weeks or so at the time.
