I am 21 weeks pregnant with my 2nd lil boy. Labor with my 1st was crazy. I was sound asleep rolled over in bed & my water broke.  A big hush of water & I can remember sitting up in bed & thinking you have to be kidding me now I am peeing myself...lol. Didn't think it was my water breaking b/c I was only 36 weeks pregnant.  After I woke my husband up & watched him jump out of bed so fat & so high, & of course had a good laugh we headed to the hospital.  Got there was not having any contractions & had not dilated at all they hooked me up to pitocin.  Even with that going was not having anything worse then normal period cramps. After about 2 hrs everyone has shown up my mom, my dad, my husband, best friend, god father, & my gay hubby. It become a full on comedy routine my nurses where laughing so hard & before I knew it like 8 hrs had passed & I still had not even dilated 1 cm & I was hungry & starting to get a migraine. Talked to the dr. they stopped the pitocin so I could eat & they waited about 5 hrs & started the pitocin again. When they started the pitocin again my contractions went into high gear & become extremely painful & couldn't fall asleep & was miserable.  By the time I hit 30 hrs of labor with no pain meds. I was ready to die & to top it off I still had not even dilated 1 cm. The Dr came into check me & when he did it was so painful I told him if he didn't remove his hand I was going to kick him so hard he was going to need some med. attention. Needless to say the dr who was an on call Dr called my OB & my dr. chewed him out for not calling sooner, not have given me my epidural or any pain meds, & told him he wanted me in the OR with in 30 min & he would be there to take of doing my c-section. I was nerves but so ready to be done & meet my baby. Had my c-section done & everything went great & even though he was 4 weeks early he was perfect. They determined I went into labor early b/c his head was so large it broke my water. His head measured for a 41 week old baby rather then 36 weeks & I know you are saying yikes ghats a big head & it was but it didn't look I like it at all it fit his body perfectly.  I had a rough time with the pain after they removed the epidural.  They gave me pain meds but they weren't helping & my heart rate went up & my blood pressure got to high they thought I was going to stroke out & I was shaking all over like I was having a seizure.  Most people had left so I could rest & then all of a sudden my father in law showed up with all my younger brother & sister in laws who ranged from age 3-9 yrs. old. They where running around while I thought I was dieing & my father in law was just worried about seeing his grandson & holding him. After about 5 min I lost it & told them all to get the f*** out & no one was going to see or hold my son until I did & that they needed to leave & come back another day. Finally after them working really hard they got my pain under control & I got to hold my beautiful baby boy & all was good.  The moment I looked at him everything I went through was all worth it & I would have done it all over again. This time I am having a planned c-section thank god but that is manly because I have some other health issue & have to but I am OK with that. That baby is know a wonderful & loving 5 yr old boy who is super excited to be a big brother.

I couldnt sleep on my bed for the last few months of my pregnancy so I slepton the couch. It was August 4th 2011 (due date) at 4 am and I woke up from contractions. I screamed into a pillow for about an hr and a half and my mom came running in there, i was only 16. She asked me how far apart they were but I didnt know so we started writing it all down. Finally my daughters father got there and we walked up and down my drivewaye until I couldnt take it anymore. We got to the hospital at 8am and I was in a room by 10 with my pitocin and all that good stuff. By 12 (lunch time) they we ready to give me my epidural and I was ready for it. I broke the bed because pain makes me mad so they gave me the epidural to calm me down and make the pain stop. IT WAS A LIFE SAVER! Shortly after I had the epidural I was layin in bed waiting for the doctors to come in and break my water and I feel something weird. So I may him go get the doctors who were actually coming in the room when baby daddy was walkin out and so the docs ran to me and said my water had broken itself and that we were about to have a baby. So we got all set up for delivery and with 3 simple pushes my baby girl was born at 1:42 pm. On her due date, weighing 7.7 and 20 in.

Start with the day before I was 37.3 days.  So I had an appointment the doctor said everything is going good so far. Heart beat was normal. The next day by 8 pm everything was regular timing. Doctor didn't want to believe the nurse cause I didn't drop or not even a sign. Anyway they had to put a contraction belt on me cause I wasn't screaming or was not in pain. Just breathing normal. Anyway they broke my water at 11 and so when it was time to push the first one I did it wrong lol yes I didn't it wrong anyway I did one big one got as far as her ear. Doctor one more push to get the rest of her head out. Am like OK my baby ended up flying literally flying the doctor turned around just in time to catch her from sliding off the birth table or whatever. Anyway at the end the doctor said I must be born to breed you didn't scream or nothing you were very quiet. I never saw a quiet woman before in labour lol. And fast labour and delivery at that. But we both had to stay in hospital for a week I had preclampsia and my baby had real bad jaundice lost over a pound way to fast she was born at 5 lbs 12 weighed her again later on 4lbs 2. Can't wait to see what my now second one will be like just as fast and not painful or will it be slow and very painful

I have 3! And one soon to come. My first child I was 38 weeks and woke up one morning with contractions and bleeding so I went in to l&d and they checked me and kept me. 8 hours later my son was born weighting 7'15. My second one it was one day before my due date and I started contracting and bleeding a bit again so I went to the hospital and they checked me but since I wasn't dilated enough was sent home. My contractions by that time were intense! I was crying couldn't walk , talk anything! My mom and sister were there with me and told me I should walk so I can progress more and so we walked to the nearest jack in the box so I can eat. So we walked back to l&d by then I was almost dying they checked me again and sure enough I was already like a 6 so two hours later my little boy was born weighing 7'15 also. My third one wasn't as bad. It was close to my due date also and my baby was having drops in her heartbeat and wasn't moving as much so the Dr decided to induce me . went into l&d like around 8 got prepped with the pioticin to be induced and two-three hours later she was born. I couldn't even believe how fast that labor went. She weight 7'5 . I'm hoping this last one will be a smooth one also.
