Stress at work

How do others handle stress at work? I work in an office and since ive been pregnant I've been unable to deal with stress. When I'm stressed out I lose all concentration. I mean I'm struggling to concentrate as it is and if someone pees me off I become idle as I can't string two thoughts together. Very frustrating when you have lots to get on with!

Don't stress it's not good for the baby!! Apply for short term disability, and let your doctor know you're too stressed. Take some weeks off! Heck, I'm doing it!

What type of office work do you do? I also used to never take lunches. But now I force myself. It makes a huge difference!

going for  a walk just to drop something off for someone helps too.

Thanks ladies! I can leave at lunch but often don't. Maybe I will make a point of it. I try to think positive but some people are so frustrating and miserable. But I suppose this time next year it will be about baby not work so should let it go!

I work in an office too for a 911 center. Although im not answering emergency calls i still hear first hand what is going on. Sometimes they anger me but most of the time i feel like i could burst into tears. I take frequent bathroom breaks to just breathe and get away from people. I drink warm tea and always have water and a snack with me if i need a little distraction. Can you leave at lunch? I leave everything behind when i walk out the door every afternoon.

I also work in an office and it is very stressful!!! It is demanding. I listen to meditation music on Pandora and that helps. I also walk on my lunch breaks. Yesterday I was having heart palpitations so I had to take a few breaks and just breath. I also say positive affirmations before I go in. I also say things like in a year will this issue matter? If not I make myself let it go. I hope this helps!!!
