Swollen Boobs and lumpy nipples?! lol help!

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and my boobs are huge! I've always had large breasts but they are really growing. They're also sore and near my nipple, on the areola it feels like it's tighter or firmer than normal. My fiance said it feels like a lump but it would have to be a pretty large lump. I dont think it's a lump but it definitely feels like something. It's seems to go from firm to less firm sometimes as well. Anyone have any idea what's I'm talking about?

Unless your nipples are dey you shouldn't need to use anything. I'm not sure what it is with me, but with both pregnancies my nipples get this crust that comes off. I read it is dried colostrum that leaked. But I put my tummy butter that is all natural on after a shower and they don't get dry. Even when I got sore nipples from breastfeeding I never used any cream. Your milk is the best thing you can use on them to heal. I got sore, but they never cracked or bled.

No leaking yet. Should I use nipple cream to moisturize now or stick woth regular lotion?

Have you started leaking? If it hurts you can massage the lumps after a shower and relieve some of the pressure. I leaked a lot with my first. I could feel when I was about to. It felt like pins and needles in my nipples.

Your breasts are just preparing to feed your baby. Your ducts are opening and filling with colostrum. That could be what you feel.

My boobs have gotten huge too and sometimes my areolas get weird and lumpy and hard, but not all the way around so that the nipples point in odd directions. It freaked me out at first but after a few hours I noticed they were back to normal. It happens randomly to me. Usually just on one breast not both. Probably started around 20 weeks. May be similar to what you are talking about.
