The not so typical pregnancy

Hi girls

It's been a long 10 weeks but yay I got here through the most confusion and and worry I've ever had.

I had a miscarriage in February and conceived again in march to both mine and my fiances delight but then the sheer worry started.

All pregnancy sites and forums highlight the typical pregnancy where morning sickness reigns, breasts hurt 24/7 and pregnancy leaves no doubt in ur mind as to fact a baby is inside you. I spent day and night torturing myself on goggle and 98% of most sites say this but then my pregnancy so far has been total opposite.

I've had zero morning sickness, breasts tingled and hurt some days and then didn't at all others and since 8 weeks I've had no breast pain whatsoever. My only symptoms are constipation and tiredness.

This site had always been the most balanced so I wanted to ask you direct as pregnant women now...

Do your breasts hurt 24/7?
Is anyone not sick?

I've had 3 scans at the EPU already the latest one 3 days ago where we saw baby moving so pregnancy is going perfect so far but despite them being bigger I've no sore breasts, I've no illness or nausea whatsoever and if I wasn't tired or constipated I wouldn't even know I'm pregnant. Am I a freak and my worry is justified or are there more of you going though the exact same because goggle has pointed me to miscarriage time and time again because I don't have symptoms and it's driven me mad.

Thanks girls

Xxx

You are normal sweetheart don't worry. Just knock on wood lol you don't want to be nauseous 24/7. Yuck lol and I swear the minute I say "wow I feel better today" its like the "pregnancy gods" smite me.

My symptoms come and go. For the past 2 weeks I was so nauseous, but these past 2 days my nausea has pretty much subsided but my breasts are stool soar. I think all pregnancy symptoms come and go. I had a miscarriage 2 years ago. I was so worried and still am, but I'm trying to take each day as a learning lesson. Try not to think negative thoughts. Or only makes you concentrate on the symptoms that aren't there and then the panic strikes.
Good luck! :-)

It's actually perfectly normal to have no symptoms. You've another 30 weeks to get them yet and believe me you will :) the only symptom I had in the first trimester was the ability to smell everything.. And that's pretty vague as far as symptoms go. In the second trimester my sickness startes (still there now at 35w) along with weeing all the time and sore boobs. they hurt occasionally now but never all the time. Congrats!! don't forget that after seeing baby move on the scan and detecting a heartbeat your chances of carrying to term is 99%. That gave me great comfort at the beginning xx

I've always had nausea, worse with my girls then my boys so far though.  I've never had much breast tenderness though.  I know lots of people that never got morning sickness.  My mom never got sick with any three of her babies, and my sister in law never did with her 2 either.  Everyone is different, and so is every pregnancy.

Just turned 6 weeks and I have not had many symptoms either. I'm pretty tired and not much of an appetite, but other than that I don't really feel preggo. I think its different for every one and seems like a lot different than my first. Hang in there and try to enjo it!

I had no morning sickness with either pregnancy. And sore boobs was how I found out I was pregnant but soon went away and even when they were sore it wasn't all the time only.occasionally I would notice them hurting. Congrats one your pregnancy. :)
