Toddler Issues?

Heyyy, I am Currently 28 Weeks pregnant with my second child (boy) my first is 4 years old & i dont know what had gotten into him. Hes normally really respectful and calm but lately he's been acting up so much he makes me seriously want to cry. If any ive been alot more lenient with him since afterall he is my first and i kind of want to give him time with me and his dad before the baby comes. What am i doing wrong? Is there anything i can do? I am so at my breaking point. He does nothing but scream at me and his dad, start hitting kids/people, like things he NEVER does. Help!

This is my 5th. I have experienced this with all of mine. This is really common. Right now your sons world is being rocked. He's seeing baby things come in that he can't play with. He hears everyone talking about the baby. And soon the baby will be there & by necessity the baby gets more attention for a while. Children typically regress at that point. Don't be surprised if he goes back to the bottle or has a problem with the potty. The best thing you can do for him is to reassure him. Include him in decisions about the new baby. (At least give him that illusion) Make a big fuss over him. He's going to be a big brother. Make him a gift bag. That way when baby comes and everyone is bringing baby things and oohing over baby he has a gift of his own. Given a little time, your son will come back. Good luck. Hope this helps you.
