Twins!

I got a big shocker at my 8 week ultrasound. We found out we are having twins! Twin moms....how do you manage and when will I start showing? Will it carry like a normal pregnancy or will I be extremely large?

In my guide from the doctor they said 1pound per week in te first trimester. Are you experiencing morning sickness?

What did they tell you how much you're supposed to gain?   I haven't been told anything yet.  Ive gained less than a pound so far.

I had my first ultra sound Thursday and now they schedule one for October 6th. They said because they are identical they will do them more often. I'm excited to have twins just kinda shocked that it happened. I am surprised how much we have to eat when carrying twins. I made a checklist to make sure I am getting everything the babies need and I don't know how I am going to do it. Are you still working at 29 weeks?

Hello I am also carry twin boys I am now 29 weeks. I started gaining at about 12 weeks also just depends. Everyone carries different being that having twins is high risk my doctor did ultrasound every two weeks or four weeks. I am just now starting to really show I think I gained about 50lbs so far all baby yayyy. As far as being ready to have twins I'm terrified but my mom did it (I'm a twin lol) we got this. Congrats ladies

Well i was high risk even before getting pregnant with twins so they have been doing weekly ultrasounds.   Im not sure how long that's going to continue for but im not complaining! !  It helps calm my nerves a bit.  Granted I get really anxious 2-3 days before each ultrasound.

Identical. The ultrasound technician originally told us fraternal but I got a call from my doctor today. I now have another ultrasound on the 6 th. How often do they complete ultrasounds of  your babies?

I too am pregnant with twins, I am 17 weeks now with twin girls n this is my first pregnancy

I delivered my twins 20 days back. I was showing extremely large bt it depends on your babies how much they weight. I started showing in 3rd mnth near abt 12 weeks. You'll show more than normal, in case.
