Does anyone here experienced u.t.i on the first trimester? What would be the possible effect on the baby?

I had one like 2 years ago. I didn't know it was a uti and ended up in the er. Get check asap

Actually I wasnt concerned about my kidneys, its the baby im thinking. Thanks for ur reply guys :)

I strongly suggest that you start drinking water NOW. And get treatment asap. I know it's irritating and it hurts but flush out as much urine as possible. The longer you hold in your pee, the further the bacteria will travel up to the urethra and to your kidney. If a uti is left untreated for too long it can cause a miscarriage.

If the infection spreads to yor kidneys that's when it starts to get dangerous. I had two in my first trimester the firt one I took ural from the pharmacy and second time i went to the doctor.
