Ultrasound and no baby...?

Ladies, I hope everyone so doing well.
I had My first appointment today. I'm just confused and anxious..so the doctor took a urine sample and it came positive. She did a pap smear and went over some general family history. Then, I explained I got my last period July 20th. She said I'm 5 weeks but technically I'm 3 weeks. She wanted me to get an ultrasound because I had an  irregular period and also some abdomimal pain. I also got some blood work. The radiologist said I'm way too early to tell. They didn't see the baby and that i must wait a little longer. So they couldnt even tell if I was pregnant. Im just not sure why she ordered an ultrasound in the first place. I'm getting the blood results tomorrow. I'm just scared I'll miss carry again...any thoughts?

The same thing happened to me. I took an ultrasound but no baby. Doctor said it was too early to tell. He told me to come back in 2 weeks to take another ultrasound. I did and my baby was there! I am now 15 weeks. So just think positive!

You are not going to miss carry again this one will stay. Have bed rest, relax, pray, and take prenatals.
