VERY Early Signs--PLEASE HELP

Aside from cessation of menstruation, are there any VERY early signs that you are pregnant? I am 27, my first child is already 4 years old.  I am 50/50 with my decision of having a 2nd child unlike my husband who already  wanted to have another one.  First day of my last period was the 27th of December. I stopped BCP and my husband & I had contact 2 consecutive days after my last menstruation.  I know that you can get pregnant right away when you stopped BCP immediately. I've been having cramps, stomach ache and chest pain lately and having headaches everyday. I also feel sluggish and get tired easily lately.  I know it's still too early to do PT. Can those be considered as early signs or it's just all in my head. Please help. Thanks! ♥

Another way to check, is to use 2 finger and insert them into your vagina. Pull them out and spread your fingers apart slowly. If it is egg white mucus you will be able to stretch it from one finger to the other without it breaking. Sticky will feel like a glue, creamy will be creamy but not stretchy and will break from one finger to the other, and watery will be just that, clear, thin and very watery/runny. Hope this helps.

That sounds to me like you are experiencing egg white cervical mucus, which is your most fertile cm. Sperm will live longer in this cm. next you should experience watery cm for ovulation, then after that it will either sty watery if your get pregnant and creamy if your period is on the way!!

Clear and stretchy...but it's only stretchy when I pee... on my pantyliner, it's just clear and not that sticky.

Not really sure how was my CM back then but I'm pretty sure I was not having CM that much compared to my normal days.  Can it be both sticky and watery at the same time?  Would you consider it watery or sticky if you see that your CM is hanging in there when you pee but it's not that hard to remove when you wash it? I think that's what I'm having most of the time.

It can, but there is also lots of other determining factors. If your cervical mucus is/was sticky when you and your hubby were together, sperm do not live in that very long as it is harder for them to get through, it is very sticky for them too. The cervical mucus that the sperm like is more of the consistency of egg white (they live longer in this CM) and they really like the watery mucus as they seem to be able to swim a little faster in this. During your fertile days, you will mostly experience egg white Cm, and at the point of ovulation you will have watery CM. After your menstrual cycle, it will either be dry or sticky. Just before your fertile week it will mostly be creamy.  I also noticed when I was TTC that, if I got a negative for the month, my cm would be creamy right before my period would start, and when I got my positive I was having more if a watery cm. just something to watch for before your period is due again!!! Keep me posted on how you make out!!!

I guess I'll just have to wait until the end of this month to do PT if my period didn't come on the 24th onwards.  My cycle is 29 days and yes @khawkins you're right about my fertile days. I'm also thinking that there may be a possibility because I read stories that sperm can live inside the body for 5-7 days. But you're also right that the symptoms I'm having right now could be because I'm ovulating.  Maybe I'm just feeling this way because half of me doesn't want to have another child yet and the other half is expecting that I am already pregnant. I'll keep you posted! Thank you so much for the response! ♥

Since you never mentioned how long your cycle is, I am going off a 28 day cycle. You are right in the centre of your fertile week, January 7 - 12th. The symptoms that you are experiencing are from ovulation. I am going to say that there is no chance that you are pregnant from this current cycle.  Good luck to you!!

Its probably a little early for pregnancy symptoms, since its only been 14 days since your period. Have you been tracking ovulation?

While it is possible to get pregnant right after stopping birth control pills, they can also throw your cycle off.

I'd wait a while and take a test and see what comes up. Good luck and hope you get the results you are hoping for.
