Some women don't even start producing hcg in the early stages of pregnancy enough for a test to pick it up. Sometimes only blood work picks it up. You should definitely go to the doctor to ensure you and the baby are ok.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I didn't know I was pregnant until last month, and I was already through my first trimester. I had been drinking, Not a lot, but I didn't restrict myself. I had not been to an OB at all nor taken any vitamins. I couldn't get a sooner appointment than tomorrow, so I am hoping and praying that everything is fine and my baby will okay. I feel terrible when I think about how often I should have been to the doc's up to this point, but there is nothing to do but move forward. I've been cautious since I found out. I wish you the best, and please don't be too hard on yourself.

As the others have said, don't stress, a lot of women don't know their pregnant in the beginning. Go to your doctor. Get checked, make sure things are OK, and start fresh from today. ... Also this group as mentioned most of the time is understanding, and can be helpful with advice.

If your worried about things like you were drinking alcohol or doing drugs when u didn't know you were pregnant don't feel alone a lot of people have because well they simply didn't know. No matter what u are worried you did wrong you should definitely see a doc to find out how far along you are and all the rest and just be honest, everyone has add mistakes but now that you know you are pregnant it's the time to get checked and learn all the things to expect and look out for. Good luck

My sister didn't know she was preggo with her second until she was almost through first trimester. She freaked cause there had been a few nights in those 2 1/2 months that she had gone out partying with her friends. She had a healthy baby boy. We are generally a very understanding and supportive group here, and these ladies are full of advice. Feel free to share!

A lot of women do things not knowing they were pregnant. Don't feel ashamed. Just whatever it was,  don't do it anymore. And, I would try to make an appointment. Do you have any idea about how far along you'd be or are you irregular with your cycles?
