almost five months

I'm 18 weeks today...haven't felt movement, have no tummy...feel pressure but no bump..and I'm wondering if things are ok. My doc said I have a 1/1500 that the baby has spina bifida...worried about that. All my bloodwork is coming back abnormal. And I had a CVS test...that came back normal.so I'm confused and worried..I just want my baby to be ok. I was a heavy drinker until I found out which was almost three months..i haven't touched a dropsince and take very good care of myself...well try to.anyone else this far along and not felt anything? Just concerned.have an ultrasound in a week and a half and just nervous..

I was showing at 18 and I got the opposite, everyone told me I shouldnt have been showing. Id say I felt movement more around 20. before that it was so subtle and rare that I wasnt sure if it was the baby. Try not to worry just yet, my mother had four of us and she said neither of us moved much. Some are def. more active than others.

I am 18 weeks too. Is this your first one because that could be why you haven't felt anything. Good luck.

With my first I was right around 20 weeks before I felt definite movement and I was like 23 before I had a visible bump. Most women show later with their first child. I wouldn't worry yourself about the odds of baby having SB. Those are really low odds.
