Has anyone else had slight cramping after an internal exam??? Im about 6 wks along and was brought in to make sure I didnt have an ectopic. We saw a sac but doctor said with his machine that was all he expected to see. Oh I also have some brown discharge could that also be from the exam????

I go once a week 2 get a vaginal ultrasound. They check my stitch & cervix. I'm cramping after every time.

Oh gosh same here,  but I'm already 10 wks and Dr. wanted to do a pap smear. Well he began inserting and checking around when I guess he realized he contradicted himself because right before that he was just reminding me of nothing to enter the vaginal area as the cervix may be sensitive and cause bleeding. Well that quick look around was enough to get me cramping and brown spotting. I'm assuming that the first few weeks we are a bit more sensitive and can easily spot or bleed. This is my third pregnancy and with the first two I didn't experience this. How uncomfortable, not too happy with my OB for that... :/
it is from the exam, just take it easy for now. One of the nurses mentioned if it's the Brown don't worry too much but if it's the bright red then contact Dr asap. Hope this helps.
