Babies have varying sleep cycles a especially in the 3rd trimester as they progressively run out of room. I'm 39 weeks & occasionally go hours without noticing any movements-especially if I'm active. Try drinking something cold & sugary or caffeinated & eating something sweet, then go lay down alone somewhere with no distractions & count movements. You should feel 10 in 2 hours. Chances are, baby's movements are becoming less pronounced because of lack of room & you're just not noticing them as much. If you don't feel 10 kicks in 2 hours-call your doctor. Good luck mama
A lot of times too if you move around a lot you can rock baby to sleep. Glad that baby is moving and you can relax again :)
Baby started moving after lunch. :) I think as my schedule was totally different today, that might be why I felt no movement? I am resting now and he hasn't stopped kicking!!! :D thank you for all your help and advice! Your an amazing group of women!!
Babies at this point sleep 90% of the time so they are usually less active. Don't let anyone freak you out saying yours should be moving constantly. My baby will be active as heck, and then not move for half the day. If you're worried call your doctor and they will guide you on what to do or if you should come in
My little one sometimes turns around into a position where she can't be felt moving. Do as the others have suggested drink something cold and sweet and lie down. It always works for me. I know it's scary, my nerves were so shot the first time she did it That I cried...lol Everything will be okay :)
I went to L and D yesterday because I didn't feel the baby move as much as she normally would . This was happening for a couple of days. She would move here and there but not as active. I am 27 +5 weeks. Upon monitoring and doing a biophysical profile she was a perfect 8... on the monitor I could hear her kicking and moving but many times I could nt feel those movements..my doctor said it was her position and the way my placenta was positioned. They gave me ice water and a italian ice to eat. That seemed to help. Good luck..
Orange Juice Usually Do The Trick
Let's pray and hope everything is going to be all right . God bless you . ... I'm going through the same thing so don't fear let's put our trust in the lord our God. Jesus listen to our humble pray. Amen
Yes, eat something sweet and lay on your side. If the baby moves less than 10 times in an hour go to the hospital. Low fetal moment can be serious! But do not panic your baby could be resting! My daughter had a day like that last week (was not nearly as active as usual) then the next day she would not stop moving!
Drs normally recommend to drink something very cold then lay on left side for an hour. If no response call the hospital or your dr and they will advise what you should do. They may want to do a stress test
Drink some orange juice or ice cold water then lie on your left side. Baby should move at least 4 times within the hour
Try to eat something sweet like a bar or drink a glass of cold water. That should force ur baby to start moving.
I'm 31 weeks today! His usual so active! Even when I eat he gives me a good old wack lol
The baby is supposed to move every hour! At least a couple times. If I haven't felt the baby move all day.... then I would DEF go get that checked out.
