Hi mommy's. Im a first time mom. 10w 5d and super excited. However the last week or so I've had horrible painful gas with lots of pressure and pain in the pelvic area. Any experienced moms had thid problem? Is it normal? And what helps? Please help lol.

Thanks for all the answers. I wil try all these and take all advice. Water seems to be working very well. Constipation is also an issue . These days either I can't go or have diarrhea but no cramping since , about week 5 so I don't wanna complain to much. Thanks again reading these comments and answers always makes me feel better. No doubt I'll be back with more questions. :-)

I think our men get more pissed about it when we do it freely. We're just girls and girls don't fart. Lmao. As my grandma says: wherever you may be, let the wind blow free.

It has only gotten worse for me as the weeks went on! I don't eat lactose products because I'm sensitive to them and I exercise and drink water and it still happens to me allllllll the time. It's horrible because I can't hold it in, it makes my stomach hurt if I do. And my fiancé constantly has to say how disgusting it is and how gross I am and then I get pissed because I obviously can't help it! Constipation definitely makes it worse but that is another problem I have that is almost impossible to resolve.

I'm almost 6 weeks and I feel the same way. Gas is so so bad! I agree that its worse when I eat dairy.

I find a brisk walk everyday or some form of physical activity helps. Not always easy when you feel like crap in the 1st trimester. Also, and this might sound silly, but dont hold it in! If you need yo release the gas do your thing girl!! A build up of gas definitely becomes painful and uncomfortable.

Yes milk is evil. Sex can help, or use a vibrator, it can help relax everything and get the gas moving out of the area

If you regular drink milk, substitute it for almond milk.  It decreased my gas soooooo much!!! No I'm not even lactose intolerant,  I just noticed it was really making me gassy

I've been getting that too. Eat more fiber, avoid carbonated drinks. I have trouble from sour dough bread. Broccoli and all its family are very gassy too
