birth story, few days late

Hello all been a tough week. Mon went in for induction was actually having contractions and didnt feel them and had dilated from 1 to a 2.5-3. They started pitocin about 630 and i dilated to 5 before contractions were becoming painful. They called for the epidural and it was AWFUL. My first i had only felt like a pinch and pain was gone. They had to keep pulling out the needle and puttinf it back in i could feel it in my back and around my spine, somethinf shocked me and the nurse holding me actually felt it too and my left leg was jumping. After they got it straight i was so sedated i felt like i could hardly breathe and then had to throw up and could barely get it out. My blood pressure kept dropping and babys heart kept accelerating so they had to do an emergency c section. The cord was wrapped around babys neck twice. Brianna rae was born on 1/26 at 2:55 pm 8lb and 1 oz 21 inches long. She had to have oxygen at first but has been doing great since. Ive had some issues this week and been very emotional. But im glad shes here and everything is okay. Shes beautiful. Good luck moms!

Sorry you needed an emergency csection.  That happened to me 10 months ago. Things will get better soon you'll see. I had that reaction too when they were putting the epidural on me. My foot jumped out of no where.  And I threw up after surgery but nothing came out. The doctor gave me something to stop the gagging. Its rough for sure but just know you're doing a great job especially because you are coping with a lot of things other moms didnt have to experience.  So just remember you're a super mom!  Congratulations! Enjoy your baby!
