birthing ball

I bought a birthing ball today to help with my pelvic and hip pain. Oh and my back pain to. Does anyone know if they really help with relieving pain? I figure if they say I'm going to have this pain rest of my pregnancy then I'm going to try like Hell to ease as much of it as I can. I'm determined to do what I got to, to stay happy and positive even if this pregnancy is going to be torture. I don't know what to do on birthing ball yet but going to find out tomorrow at physical therapy.

I alwaystake a warm shower aand let it run over me til all the hot water is gone. I wish the doctor would have recommended this ball a long time ago. Good thing is I've used exercise ball before so I already knew how to balance and all but let kids have mine when I found out I was pregnant because I didn't know you could still use them. I found a few more exercises online like pelvic tilts but not sure how to do them going to ask therapist to show me today. I so want to be able to enjoy the rest of my pregnancy. I have had terrible back pain entire time. After this I'm going to make yoga and Pilates a daily routine instead of couple times a week so I can get my back strengthened and all.

I was on the ball about two days non stop to help with the same pains. However I think with all the friction of the exercises I developed a skin tag down there so I stopped to see if it would go away!. Still waiting...

I love my birthing ball. There's a lot of different stretches & exercises u can do to relieve the pain. Make sure u look up different exercises. Also make sure u soak in a warm bath and heating pad. The combination helps tremendously.

Well I tried rockin my hips on it back and forth, clockwise and counter clockwise and was actually able to walk normal finally of course I have to do it again this morning. But it ffelt good to be able to walk right. The soreness was still there but the stiffness was gone. I'm definitely going to keep working with it and can't wait to go to physical therapy so they can show me how else to relieve the stiffness and pain.

It worked for me but also if u can prop your feet and get a pelvic message and a back rub that always helps me for a little while I have it bad and I still have 10 more weeks
