bowel obstruction?

I just went to my ultrasound at 21 weeks and found out we are having a boy ! His name will be Liam Thain but got some not so perfect news doc says he has bowel obtruction i never heard of this while in womb has anyone ever went through this ? P lease help

I've personally had obstructions and they are fixed surgically if it is a complete 1, if partial there are minor none surgical routines used.

Surgery may have to be done at birth and may end up having early if other problems sometimes associated with it

No i go back for atleast 2 more ultrasound he said to keep an eye on it . But it was large enough to be seen. I have been researching it preparing myself for worse caae scenario.

Bumb. I'm dry I've never heard of that in utero either :-( did they say how they can fix it? I assume it will be fixable immediately after birth?
