My medela manual pump was like less than $60 but its better to use than my electric one.. Gets the job done
Oh dont buy a pump I worked for wic. You will first get a manual pump then be required to see a nutrition and lactation specialist. If you see the specialist she will get you a medela double pump through wic. They try not to give out the double pumps unless you are having trouble breast feeding or pumping with the manual. The manual pump they give you is pretty decent though. Next appt or if the manual isnt working ask about seeing a specialist.
Wth!? I asked for a pump yesterday at the wic and they said they don't give it till after the baby is born -_- . that kind of ***** bc I wanted to do some nipple stimulation with it.
You can sometimes rent pumps from a local pharmacy! It's worth looking into!
I know, I prefer to buy it myself, but I heard that the manual pumps take longer and are uncomfortable and since I have problems with my hands, I need something easy
All I had for my son was a manual Medela pump and I was working and going to school and I didn't need anything else, it worked great for me. If you're going to be home with your baby almost all the time you won't need to be pumping much. Use what you have and see how it works before spending money on a pump you might not need. Don't lie to get something else for free - leave it for someone who truly needs it.
Yeah that's what she told me, but I don't work and I'm not going to schoo, so I feel bad for lying
did you tell them at wic you are planning to go back to work or school? usually they only give you the electronic one if you're gonna be working.
Ok thanks, I saw one at Walmart for like 80 bucks, and I saw the reviews and they were good
I have evenflo dual electric pump. It costed around $90 and I like it. Definitely does what it needs to do. :) Good luck and best wishes!
Or give me any suggestions please
