concerned brown discharge at 5weeks

I'm a fulltime RN at ICU. Noticed to a trip to the restroom I cleaned and noticed brown discharge got concerned n immediately called the Dr and he inspected me saw the the yolk sac and said its a 50/50 chance. I was really sad of course its my first pregnancy. He took me off work n bedrest now. Has anybody experienceed this before n had a good outcome? right now I have very light to almost nothing discharge.

Just pray and drink tons of water, I was told the same and it wasnt a good outcome. Just stay off your feet as much as you can.

Brown discharge is considered to be old blood so hopefully everything will be ok

Had the same as you at 6 w and add cramps. I am doing good now at 9 w 3 d. :) there is hope. I was told with the threatened miscarriage only 1 in 4 actually miscarry.  In my prayers!

I had that around 12 wks but doc said same thing brown means old. It could be from period or sex or sometimes the stretching causes little tears. She said no worry unless it doesn't stop or turns bright red
