contractions

I have braxton hicks contractions every 5 mins. None are painful, should I be concerned and call my doctor. Can u be in active labor with bh contractions?

Yes I walked a lot tonight. Now I feel a ton of pressure in my pelvis and sharp pains in that area. Hubby don't feel comfy w sex and I'm allergic to pineapples, not sure what else to do.

Do a lot of walking to bring them on stronger and harder, that's what you really want to get things going!

Sounds like you're getting very close. When BH contractions are less than 6 minutes apart at any point in pregnancy, then it can lead to labor, especially once you're in your third trimester or at the end of your pregnancy.
Since you say they are not painful yet, you are probably only in the very beginning of labor, the first stage. You'll know when you're getting closer to transitioning to the second stage of labor and making more progress with dilation and effacement because your contractions will probably be less than 5 minutes apart, and you will not be able to talk, walk, or focus on anything really except breathing through it until it passes, and they will get more and more painful and cause a feeling of intense pressure in your lower back and pelvis and a stinging sensation to your cervix. That'll be the time you might consider going to L&D. Either that or if you present bloody show or your water breaks.
Good luck!

If you say they aren't painful then yea no point to call or go in. With real contractions you won't be able to do anything walk talk nothing. Good luck!

I have gone in so many times with false labor. I would wait til they are intense and 2-3 mins apart for more than an hour before you go in.
