could it be ectopic ?

i had a positive home pregnancy test 6 days prior to my missed period, was getting darker day by day and had a serum Bhcg test on the day of my missed period and it was 246 .
I'm concerned of having ectopic pregnancy as that happened to a lot of people i know.. i have no risk factors though ( i read a lot about its risk factors and i know that i have nothing of them) ..i have no spotting or bleeding , no pain ...
I only have sore breasts and slight morning sickness and feeling a bit tired than usual .
just want some relief as am so stressed out thinking about ectopic pregnancy all the time ...
so does the home pregnancy test catch the ectopic pregnancy 6 days before the missed period ?am i in the safe side or what ?

The best way to determine ectopic pregnancy is ultrasound. If you aren't in pain, then it's very safe to assume you are having a normal pregnancy.

My understanding is that with ectopic pregnancies your hcg levels are a lot slower to rise so I'm guessing that if it were ectopic you would not of tested positive so early.
