d&c miscarriage??

Had a u/s it showed I was about 6 wks with twins. Didn't show any heart beat on either. My hcg levels were checked and came back good about 7 wks rechecked 4 days later today currently waiting on results. I have no bleeding or cramps I do feel kinda flu like symptoms but no hard fever just low grade Dr said I could possibly be going to miscarry. Now she thinks I could possibly become septic? I'm unsure of what to do or how to feel?? Anyone else experience anything like this before??

I went for my first us at around 6.5 wks. When they did it the sac was empty!!! Even I could tell something wasnt right bc this is my second. They said either I was only 3 to 4 wks or I would have to wait to miscarry as the embryo prob stopped growing. We were devastated! Did blood tests twice both with increasing numbers. Nxt wk us showed I was 7 wks and 1 day, with a strong heartbeat. Where was the baby the wk prior we dont know. Dont do anything until confirmation, and I think we psych ourselves out sometimes thinking the worst....hang in there, hope all turns out well

The title says d&c, I would personally wait before doing one. Just because there isn't a heart beat today doesn't mean there won't be tomorrow. If your not cramping or bleeding I would wait. I don't know what septic is. I did a dnc but I saw there was no baby, there was nothing. My body had yet to register that my baby had passed, and on the ultrasound it just showed the beginning of my placenta pulling away from the uterus. So I say as long as theres a baby there don't rush into anything just yet. Keep your chin up, if your religious pray about it. Good luck I wish you get good results and good news.

I've had a ton of complications in my pregnancy and the drs all thought I was going to miscarry. I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant and tho I'm being watched closely all is going well. Just try n stay positive cause I to had gone to an ultrasound when I was 6 weeks but they didn't see anything and said I going to miscarry. I went back A week later and there was the heartbeat. Good luck
