So what is up with not being able to what deli meat i love salami and i ate a boat load of it am I ok? I asked my mom she had 4 of us and says stop worrying
More than likely you're fine. :) Don't worry about the past, but if you're concerned heat your meat in the future.
There is a small risk of listeria with any meats. The chance is slightly higher with deli meat. Heat it to steaming before you eat it just to be sure any bacteria is killed.
Its really just if you go to a delibor sandwich place for it then it should be heated before eating. But I never did and my son was born fine. Listeria is rare if you live in the USA. I'm not sure about other countries
