HELP! I ran out of tums and have the most horrible heartburn! Go figure it would happen of all nights. What are other ways to help ease heartburn? I would like to sleep tonight lol

With my son only baking soda and water would work. Chug it though its bitter but it works good and amazingly fast.

I just read either drink a teaspoon of baking soda in a small coup of water(rinse your mouth of the taste after drinking and spit out the fluid)
Eat a ripe banana.
Or drink a cup of chamomile tea.

oh man, that's why I keep Maalox in the fridge!!! lol I've got like 2 or 3 TUMS left, and I woke up at 5 this morning with awful heartburn.. I wanted to save the TUMS so I took a couple tiny sips of Maalox & went back to sleep!

milk & ice cream were the only 2 things I could think of too.. and someone once told me to try a spoon full of mustard? I've never tried it, but you can look that up to see how well it works maybe?

just remember to buy a bottle of Maalox along with the TUMS when you make it to the store!!! ((:
