I had one done at 13 weeks because I was considered overweight I was 180 and 5"6 pre-pregnancy. I passed a will have a second one done June 13th I'll be 27weeks
Its normally done between 24-28 weeks because that it is im the 3rd trimester that a pregnants womans pancreas usually starts going haywire and cant regulate the insulin... if you have had it before they test you earlier.... I was tested at 28 weeks and failed the 1hr one... tested at 29 weeks for the 3hr one and failed that... 2 days later went in amd was given a glucose monitor to check my sugars 4x a day... it su cks... im soo glad this part of this journey is almost over... its been a rough pregnancy...
@Amiyahsmommy24 I had mine done at 24 weeks, a friend told me not to eat anything after midnight the night before the test...it sucked but i passed :)
My doc email and said that I have to do the 3 hour glucose testing and that will determine if I have g.d . The one hour is a screening.
Mine was done at 28 weeks
She told me at 7 weeks I would be doing the 3 hour testing at least 3x throughout my pregnancy. I did this with my first two as well
How often did u eat sweets my test is next week I'm nervous n what did u eat before the test
I had mine at 13 weeks due to being overweight prepregnancy and it was 117.
Im so confused by my results. It says negative but then it says my level was 149 and the standard normal range is 139 or below. I messaged my doc but wont hear anythig till tomorrow
I had mine at 29 weeks and my one hour came back at 134 and they want you under 130. So I had to do the 3 hour test. I failed that one too so I get weekly ultrasounds to monitor her. I am 32 weeks now and the only thing that ***** is no more sweets and barely any carbs. Telling a pregnant woman not to eat *****! But I don't need insulin or anything because the diet keeps me regulated.
They normally do them around 24 weeks. When I had mine done I was at 219, so automatically they sent me home with a glucose monitor to check my levels 4x a day. I don't necessarily agree with it, but anything for babies well being- I have a check up this week depending on how my levels have been he'll determine if I'll need insulin. However, referring to the guide I was given its been ok. In my Dr's office their guidelines are it should be no higher than 140, if it's 141-200 they'll order the 3 hr test but over 200 your considered diabetic. :/
I did mine at 7 weeks and it was 106
I'm 22 weeks and still haven't done it. They did blood tests for birth defects at week 12. But that's all
