gone off meat

Hi guys, I'm 12 wks pregnant with my first and totally gone off meat! Haven't touched it for a couple of months and the thought of eating it makes me feel sick! Especially chicken.
I'm gutted cos usually I love my meat!
Is anyone else in this situation?
And will i eat meat again soon?
Do i need to continue with iron supplements?

I'm 32 weeks and I haven't eaten meat since my first month. Meat just makes my stomach turn. Especially chicken.... :(

I didn't eat anyeat except for the occasional crab legs for my entire first trimester. I am currently 26 weeks and can eat some meat now however chicken is still a huge turn off for me, unless its in the form of buffalo wings.

I love my meat, could only eat chicken in the firts 12-13 weeks... tried red meat the other day and it wasn't that bad, but still a bit afraid it would make me nauseous again. And the iron supplements is up to the ob. I just drink folic acid for now... going to see my ob again in a week. Strongs and I really hope u would be able to eat ur fab food again

I haven't had any red meat or pork for about 9 weeks. I'm 13 weeks pregnant now. My iron is quite high so I don't have to worry about an iron supplement. Talk to your doctor first about taking any. You can always get iron from spinach in green smoothies

I am the same way. I ate meat with both my pregnancies, but cant seem to stomach it this one. I eat a lot of quinoa for protein. I did eat a steak the other day when I felt iron deficient, but that was it in 12 weeks

About iron supplement.. You should talk to your doc. Mine said I would need them one way or another, cause you will produce up to 2L more of blood.. And your body does that by diluting the blood, so in a very high % of women anemia is present

Each day I like meat a bit less. Today I have beef for lunch and I'm already thinking ways of avoiding it! I don't like its taste anymore
And for me it's not normal. I literally like (or used to!) every food on earth lol
