Water! Drink tons of it. Don't be afraid to walk. Walking keeps blood from pooling in the area and helps healing. Practice breathing deeply after it. I know those three seem like they wouldn't do much but they do. Keep in mind, they will cut thru nerves so things feel a lil strange along the c sect line for a while. Seriously drink tons of water after. Can't say that enough. Relax and allow yourself the time to get going again. Rushing it just slows down healing. C sects aren't so bad. They've gotten a lot better at them these days. :) I walked around my hospital room with my baby the day after it. :)

The recovery from a csection can be painful. It literally feels as if you were to pour alcohol into a deep cut. That burning sensation intensifies if you laugh, cough, sneeze, etc. It gets better quickly though, within a week maybe two at the most :)

I had a c sec 6 weeks ago, and i dont know but i was feeling good on my 4th day... 2nd day nurses helped me get up after that i walked used the bathroom, and when my husband went back to work 2 weeks after i felt like nothing happen... i really didnt take pain meds... it is not as bad! Just really trying getting c sec underwear all the pain you might have since not everybody is the same when you see your little one laugh would go away :) good luck!

I had one c section. I it felt like my guts would fall out lol. I liked to stay tight, I hated loose underwear or even liked those thick material yoga leggings that fit nice and tight. You're definitely sore and have to keep the area clean and make sure to dry it if you sweat and after showers. Good luck best wishes.

I think a good pair of compression underwear is a must! they sell as tummy reducing or whatever something that goes all the way to your belly button. after a c-section do you feel like your insides are going to fall out. This makes a huge difference! getting ready for c section number 6 in April. :-)

I've had two will bebhaving my third in 24 days. I felt alot of pressure during it and then just hurt for about two weeks after.  When you move or get up sneeze cough have a pillow there. Just take it and walk when you feel like it. I'll be praying for your baby. Good luck
