Im confusdd iam 11wks how many mths is that..
All the guidlines online say 14 wks is 4mths but my doc says im 1week from being 3 mths... wth... im so confused

This is my 7 pregnacy I hax a still born in 06 a mc in feb of this year and found out I was preg 4 days before my mom died of lung cancer..i have 3boys and a lil girl ..im just so confused on time..ive found timelines on line wich lead me to believe im almost to my second trimester bout to be four mths..so finaly I called my doctor and asked she said eleven weeks is two and half mths..everything online everywhere else says diffrent..lol.....sooo confusing

Also, if you just track the weeks, the magic 40 week number is really the most important.

There are some pregnancy months that have five weeks.  I believe the breakdown of the first trimester goes:

Weeks 1-4 - 1 Month.
Weeks 5-8 - 2 Months.
Weeks 9-13 - 3 Months.

If you Google it, you can find a breakdown of the whole pregnancy (40 weeks divided by 4 weeks equals ten months, that's why it's a little wonky).

you actually are concidered to be 2 weeks pregnant when u concieve so pregnancy months are different.. i am 11 weeks as well this is my 4th full pregnancy (we had 5 misscarriages between my baby boy and this one in a span of 2 1/2 years) we r almost to our second timester =) enjoy every part if it i always do its a blessing, congrats on having a baby!

Ur doctor is right. Pregnant months seem different. Just know 4 weeks is 1 month. And go from there.
